I can't believe it's already mid spring!!  Wow this year has flown by! I am happy to report that I am now a proud member of both SAG and AFTRA. Just call me a union gal! I also finished writing the final draft of my Feature Film. I have some interested parties and I am looking forward to shopping it around. I am still looking for the right representation and I feel confident that the right person and I will connect soon. I am also at final call back stages as an action hero in a web series and really hope that one hits because it is a fantasy of mine. I hope all is well in your world and thank you for stopping by!

Work, work and more work!

I am loving this year!!  My National Motorola spot is running all the time. I had a stranger give me a shout out on the street because of it. That was super cool and super funny! I have done a web series and a student film lately. I am feeling great with my audition technique as a result of my kick-ass teacher Christinna Chauncey. If you are in the market for a great on camera audition class she is the one to call! I am in the running for a big budget studio film.  I am looking forward to seeing how that all pans out. I will keep you posted! Till then keep living your dream and never give up!!

It's been too long since I have updated this blog!!

Okay, HI ALL!!!

What's new with me? Well, I decided to focus up real hard on my acting this year. The first audition of 2012 I booked. National Motorola Commercial. Yippe!! You can Youtube me ( ms veronica kelly) and it is on my page. I have booked other small stuff and I am not looking for representation. I am auditioning and taking classes. I have a bunch this week and I will report back as to which ones I book!! I am super excited to see what I get to work on this year. I have a great feeling about 2012. Exciting News

I officially finished the rough draft of my screenplay! Yahoo!!! There is still a ton of work to do and I am sure things will be changed between now and the final draft. But Hot Dam! I am super stoked with today. Go Me!! I plan to have a table read next weekend and get feel back for my peers and colleagues. I then will make the Kick start page and hopefully raise some funds for the trailer.... It's all coming together nicely.

Fun times!

The Fox job turned out to be fun as hell!! I was Coordinating- not Assistant Coordinating! That was pretty awesome and I met a fantastic set of Lady Producers!! Not to mention I had Adam Carolla in tub of "Motor Oil" for a solid 45 minutes. He is a pro!! Super nice and great to work with.
My rough draft of my screenplay should be complete in the next few days! I can't wait for it to be complete! I started a new blog attached to this site. Please check it out. It is a sort of dear diary for my quest to find the perfect boyfriend on line. LOL. Fun times let me tell you.

I will keep you posted with the completion of the commercial I was talent in the other week and where you can view it!

What is new in my world? I shot a commercial for D's Herbals an organic herbs and supplements website last week. That was fun. It was a fun shoot with some great comics. I look forward to seeing the footage!
I start an assistant coordinator job for Fox tomorrow. I am looking forward to working with the director. I am plugging away on my screenplay- I am half way complete with the first draft. I hope to be done by the end of the month.... keep you fingers crossed.

Single in an insane city- Hollyweird. Yikes!

I have been working on my second play. It is titled "This is my first time- I swear." I am feeling confident that it will come together nicely. It is based on the last play I co-wrote. I have added some new dates, kept my favorite and dropped the ones that didn't work for me. I have had a lot of research in the last 2 years and I intend to report on those dates in a series of blogs leading up to opening night.
